Continuing Care Elder Services, Inc. was started January 2008 by William Preston, Kathryn Payton, and Cheryl Nettles. We recognized our local seniors’ need for care and attention while allowing them independence in the comfort and security of their homes. Continuing Care Elder Services, Inc. provides companionship, transportation to doctor’s appointments, grocery shopping, daily assistance with household tasks, as well as other levels of care. We offer an alternative to the conventional form of assisted living for those who wish to live at home.
Bill Preston, a practicing attorney who specializes in Elder Law, has been actively involved in the local community for many years and also serves as Chair of the Foundation of the Bert Fish Medical Center, and is on the Board of Trustees at the Atlantic Center for the Arts. Mr. Preston has heard requests for help from out-of-state relatives who try to balance their own busy lives while trying to juggle the needs of their independent, elderly parents in this area. It is that challenge that created a desire to offer assistance to those in need.
Kathryn Payton, a local realtor and paralegal, has been in the area for over twenty years and has been active in the local community. Cheryl Nettles, a realtor and longtime resident and community volunteer, saw the need to assist aging neighbors and friends as well as her own parents and in-laws.
Bill, Kathryn, and Cheryl have assembled an organization that provides a unique yet essential service to our local community.
At some point In our lives, we all need a little assistance. Our staff is on hand to be of assistance and to offer that little bit of help when needed.
